How can we help?
Clipkin has no account or server, so most fixes stay pleasantly small. Your saved items remain on your device while you troubleshoot.
Email support
Tell us what happened, which iPhone and iOS version you use, and what you expected to happen. Do not include passwords, private notes, or backup files.
Email jenaquaro@gmail.comBack up your saved items
Tap the share button in Clipkin's top bar, then save the JSON backup to Files or another location you control. To restore, tap the download button and choose a Clipkin backup file. Existing items are kept, and duplicates are skipped.
Add the widget
Touch and hold the Home Screen, choose Edit, then Add Widget. Search for Clipkin and add a medium or large widget. Pin an item inside Clipkin to make it appear. You can also enable Show all notes in Clipkin's settings.
Enable the keyboard
Open iPhone Settings, then General, Keyboard, Keyboards, and Add New Keyboard. Choose Clipkin. The keyboard can type without Full Access. To insert saved Clipkin items, enable Full Access for the Clipkin keyboard. Clipkin does not make network requests or transmit what you type.
Protect important items
Clipkin stores data locally. Make a backup before deleting the app, erasing your phone, or installing a replacement device without an iCloud device backup. Deleting the app removes its local data.
